Steve must be a little camera shy, as he didn't include a picture of himself with his brief resume. But I fooled him. Ha! I found at old picture of Steve and his wife Pat in October 1972 Crown Jewels, as you can see from the print at the left.

Steve writes: "We, too, enjoy the National, despite the heat and high humidity. We also feel that by setting down standards for upcoming Nationals that we might insure the future success of these shows in years to come."

"It is funny how a seemingly insignificant happening can change your life. Mine was greatly changed the day I accidentally dug up what turned out to be a very common insulator. This event, however, stimulated my curiosity to such a degree that I began to collect these odd-shaped pieces of glass that fit on poles, and have been doing so for the past 3 1/2 years. Insulators have occupied most of our spare time since that time and have found us an entirely new circle of friends. They have taken us to many distant places both in the United States and Canada in search of insulator treasures."

"My family consists of my wife, Pat, and my three daughters: Debbie, 8; Elisabeth, 5; and Melanie, 4. I have been in the Insurance Business for the past 10 years, and have recently entered into the Antique Business as well."
